Day in the JFO zone: 15 violations, a military Armed Forces of Ukraine died

Over the past day, on April 8, in the area of the Joint Forces operation, the armed formations of the Russian Federation violated the ceasefire 15 times.

This is reported by UATV with reference to the JFO headquarters.

Not far from the settlements of Pysky and Vodyane, the enemy opened fire from 122-caliber artillery mounts, 82-caliber mortars, large-caliber machine guns and small arms.

Near Shyrokyne, the enemy used large-caliber machine guns, and near the village of Nevelske – anti-tank grenade launchers.

The armed formations of the Russian Federation opened fire from automatic easel grenade launchers near Luhansk.

As a result, one soldier from the Joint Forces was killed.

Our defenders responded to the shelling of the Russian occupation forces.

In the area of the settlement Vodyane, the enemy carried out artillery shelling of civilian infrastructure.

Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recorded engineering work on the arrangement of new defensive positions in the direction of the contact line near the settlement of Shyrokyne, and in the direction of Zaitseve, the enemy carried out remote mining from hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers with POM-2 mines.

The Ukrainian Joint Center for Control and Coordination reported all the facts of violations to the OSCE.

NATO is concerned about the buildup of Russian military power near the border of Ukraine.
