Cybersecurity Month has started in Ukraine

Cybersecurity Month will be held in Ukraine from October 1 to October 31. It aims to improve citizens’ knowledge of cyber hygiene and create a culture of safe behavior in cyberspace.

This was reported by the Cyberpolice Department of the National Police of Ukraine, UA informs.

Cybersecurity Day will be held in higher education institutions. In addition, round tables, regional courses and seminars for business are planned. As well as the PKI Forum 2021, a nationwide cybersecurity competition for student CyberNinja. There will also be an all-Ukrainian e-sports competition Cyberhero, a presentation and a webinar on cyber psychology.

Representatives of the Department of Cyberpolice will take part in the IV International Forum “Cybersecurity. We will protect business – we will protect the state”, a round table “Innovative systems for protecting the perimeter of critical infrastructure in Ukraine: priority approaches and solutions“ and in an event for parents ”Threats to children on the Internet – how to counteract them”.

Cybersecurity Month will be held as part of the European Security Month.

To remind, Kyiv hosted the first summit of the National Cybersecurity Cluster with the participation of the National Coordination Center for Cybersecurity under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine and the US Civilian Research and Development Foundation (CRDF Global).
