The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov expects that a vaccine against COVID-19 may appear on the commercial market not earlier than summer-autumn.
He said this on the air of the “Right to Power” program on the 1 + 1 TV channel, DW reports.
“I am sure that vaccines will not appear on the commercial market, based on our negotiations with manufacturers, before summer and autumn,” Stepanov said.
According to him, all manufacturers are contracted by the end of the year only with governments, they don’t have enough capacity.
More than 10 000 new cases of COVID-19 were fixed in Ukraine, most of all in Kyiv.
