As of October 22, 2021, 32,794 transactions for the purchase/sale of agricultural land were concluded in Ukraine.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, UA reports.
“The Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine informs that today 32,794 transactions have been concluded within the land market. 5173 Notaries have applied for access to the State Land Cadastre” – the statement says.
There were 5,806 applications in total, of which 5,125 were approved, 13 were in the queue for consideration, and 668 were rejected.
From July 1 to October 22, 2021, the total area of land for which transactions are registered is 81,732 hectares. In terms of area, the leaders are Kirovohrad (10,859.6 ha), Kharkiv (10,598.4 ha) and Poltava regions (7,148.9 ha).
Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy Taras Dzioba reported that there is a tendency to an increase in the number of land transactions and the area of land plots sold. According to him, 200 transactions are registered daily. The average size of a land plot is about 2 hectares, which corresponds to the average size of a land share in Ukraine.
