Ukraine arrested 13 planes for flights to the occupied Crimea

The Ukrainian court has arrested 13 aircrafts of the Russian airline companies, which used regularly fly to the occupied Crimea, violating the Ukrainian rules of entering the peninsula. According to UA, prosecutor’s office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol informed this.

The Ukrainian side considers those flights of the foreign companies as a violation of the international law.

Starting 2019 till now the airline company has been illegally employing 13 Airbus planes to deliver passengers across the state border of Ukraine, while the company’s official web-site is openly selling the tickets to the Russia-occupied peninsula.

They added in the court that 37 Russian companies are now conducting regular flights to the occupied Crimea.

Earlier 211 aircrafts had been arrested within this criminal proceeding.
