Poland handed over 5,000 Starlink antennas to Ukraine, – Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation

Poland handed Ukraine 5,000 terminals-antennas for Starlink satellite communication.
The terminals will also be used to increase the reliability of communication for the needs of critical infrastructure facilities.

“Our Polish friends handed over 5,000 Starlinks to Ukraine. This will help Ukrainians to always be in touch, and critical infrastructure objects to work in the most difficult conditions. I am very grateful to the State Secretary for Digitalization of Poland, Janusz Cieszynski, for such an important step,” – wrote Fedorov.

Other details are currently not given.

Earlier, in the spring of 2022, Poland previously handed over to Ukraine a batch of 240 modernized T-72 tanks and more than 100 armored personnel carriers to counter Russia’s armed aggression.

In July 2022, Poland delivered a batch of PT-91 Twardy tanks to Ukraine. The PT-91 Twardy tank was created in Poland based on the T-72M1. The biggest technical changes in the Polish tank, compared to the T-72, relate to the new DRAWA fire control system and active armor developed by ERAWA. This type was produced in Poland from 1995 to 2002. A total of 232 PT-91 Twardy tanks were produced for the needs of the Polish Armed Forces.

As reported, the estimated amount of aid provided by Poland to Ukraine and Ukrainians may reach more than 2 billion euros.
