United States are providing military aid to Ukraine, worth $775 million, – Minister of Defence Reznikov

Defense Minister of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov thanked the United States for providing military aid to Ukraine, worth $775 million.

He wrote about this on his Twitter account, Ukrinform reports.

“New $775 million security assistance package from the Unites States: ammo for HIMARS, 16 105mm howitzers+ammo; 15 Scan Eagle drones; 40 MaxxPro Vehicles;  HARMs; 50 HMMWVs; 1,500 TOW missiles; 1,000 Javelins; 2,000 anti-armor rounds and other equipment. Thank to President Biden,” – Reznikov said.

Earlier, U.S. President Joe Biden has signed a decree instructing the Secretary of State to send $775 million from the budget of the U.S. Department of Defense to help Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the United States for providing another military aid package worth $775 million to Ukraine. He emphasized that another important step had been taken to defeat the aggressor.

The United States has supported Ukraine in the war with Russia for a long time.

In May, a lend-lease for Ukraine was signed. However, due to the peculiarities of the implementation of this policy, Lend-Lease will be able to earn only in October.
