An urgent investigation has been initiated into the death of two Ukrainian servicemen who were killed by a landmine in the Luhansk region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said.
“Two people were wounded and another two were killed. An urgent investigation into this case has begun. It was not a gunshot. It was a mine,” Zelensky said after voting in today’s snap parliamentary elections (July 21) at a polling station in Kyiv.
The soldiers tripped an unknown explosive device in today’s early hours that had been planted by saboteurs.
