Zelensky and Merkel Meet in Berlin

Prior to this, an official welcoming ceremony with military honors took place in front of the German Chancellery, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.

During their first one-on-one bilateral meeting, the two leaders are expected to discuss a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, the progress of reforms in Ukraine, as well as international issues.

The priority talking points will be the peaceful settlement of the situation in Donbas, the implementation of the Minsk agreements, work within the Normandy format, the release of hostages and Ukrainian political prisoners illegally detained in Russia.
