During his working visit to Mariupol, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky examined the procedure of underwater mine clearance in the Sea of Azov.
On the deck of Captain Chusov, Zelensky watched the demonstration exercises of the maritime units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, State Border Service, National Guard, mine pickers and divers of underwater mine removal. The units also held an exercise to detain a vessel using a helicopter of the National Guard and ships of the maritime guard.
Also, the units carried out rappelling in the Sea of Azov.
Zelensky took a tour of the boats of the State Emergency Service and the Maritime Border Guard.
He also got himself acquainted with samples of equipment and uniforms for the special maritime security units.
