Zelensky Meets Students and Business Leaders, Visits Tech Academy in Mariupol

During his working trip to Mariupol, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky visited Spalah multi-hub, where he spoke with progressive youth and business representatives.

Zelensky reviewed the presentation of the program of development of small and medium enterprises of the city.

He noted that SMEs are “blood for the country’s organism.”

“What can the authorities do? The authorities can refrain from interfering and only provide help,” he said.

Zelensky also stressed the importance of reforming law enforcement bodies.

“The main goal is ‘A State in a Smartphone’ to minimize communication of business with officials,” Zelensky said.

He said that draft bills were currently being prepared to promote the development of small and medium enterprises.

Zelensky also noted the importance of developing Donbas infrastructure.

“In the near future, there will be investments in the infrastructure of Donbas. I’m talking about that with all foreign investors,” he concluded.

 

Zelensky also spoke with Beetroot Academy IT students.
