Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyi during talks with European leaders in Brussels intends to discuss the issue of continuing pressure on Russia to force it to peace.

Zelenskyi said on his Facebook page, that he wants to remind European leaders to call on Russia to end the war.

“Calls to peace are not enough. Therefore, my conversations with European leaders will begin today with the question — how will we put pressure on the aggressor? How are we going to force him to peace? I believe that together we will find a solution. Maybe not today, but we will definitely find it. We are obliged to find it for the sake of children,” he said.

Volodymyr Zelenskyi began his first foreign visit. During the visit, he meets with a number of EU and NATO officials – including NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, European Council President Donald Tusk, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, and Polish President Andrzej Duda, his press service said. He wants to reaffirm that Ukraine will continue its reforms, in particular, in fighting against corruption, and hopes for the continued support from the EU in its fight against Russian aggression, as well as financial and technical assistance in implementing reforms, it said.
