President Volodymyr Zelenskyi and his team plan to launch an e-government project “Lift” on May 27, which will allow citizens to present their state-decentralization ideas.
Zelenskyi and his advisor Mikhail Fedorov announced the project today at the IT conference”iForum” in Kyiv, Ukrainska Pravda reported.
It will enable people to control which bills are being submitted, how to supplement them, which petitions are filed, and so forth, Zelenskyi said.
“I really am dreaming of our country in the smartphone, and that we should be the first in the world to bypass this stage,” he said.
“We want to create an open social elevator where a person without any layers of government, deputies, acquaintances, moms, dads, sisters, and uncles will be able to get into a team and realize a real project,” Fedorov said.
