Poroshenko to Congratulate Zelensky on Win

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said that he will call his political opponent Volodymyr Zelensky to congratulate him on his victory.

“The results of the exit polls are obvious. They give me the grounds to call my opponent and congratulate him, for the first time in the history of Ukraine, as it is done in civilized countries,” Poroshenko said.

Poroshenko made the statment in a speech at his election headquarters.
