The State Enterprise “Multimedia Platform of Ukraine’s International Broadcasting” (IBMPU) continues to expand the international distribution of the FREEДОМ and Дім TV channels. The latest step is the signing of agreements with a number of Polish telecommunications operators. As a result, FREEДОМ and Дім are now available to subscribers of one of Poland’s largest telecommunications operators — Play (P4 Sp. z o.o.).
Poland remains one of Ukraine’s key partners and an important market for the international distribution of Ukrainian broadcasting. A large Ukrainian community, sustained interest among Polish audiences in developments in Ukraine, and active information exchange between the two countries make the Polish media space strategically important. Expanding the presence of the Дім and FREEДОМ channels across Polish telecommunications networks is therefore another important step in strengthening Ukraine’s voice in Europe.
Polish audiences have generated nearly 34 million views of FREEДОМ and Дім content on YouTube. Of these, more than 21.3 million views were recorded across FREEДОМ’s YouTube platforms*, with nearly one-third (32.4%) coming from Warsaw. Other leading cities include Wrocław, Poznań, Kraków, Katowice, Gdańsk, Łódź, Szczecin and Lublin.
More than 12.5 million views were generated across Дім’s YouTube platforms. Warsaw also leads the channel’s audience with 26.2% of all views. Other top cities include Wrocław, Poznań, Kraków, Katowice, Łódź, Gdańsk, Szczecin and Lublin.
Earlier this year, the State Enterprise “Multimedia Platform of Ukraine’s International Broadcasting” launched the Polish-language YouTube channel UATV po polsku. The channel has already surpassed 2.7 million views, with 75% of its audience coming from Poland, and has attracted 6,800 subscribers.
Play is one of Poland’s leading telecommunications operators, providing mobile and fixed-line services, fiber-optic and mobile internet, as well as digital television for both residential and business customers. The provider offers more than 200 TV channels, supports HD and 4K broadcasting, pause, rewind and recording functions, as well as program archives. Content is available on Smart TVs, computers, smartphones and tablets through the TV GO application.
The distribution network for FREEДОМ and Дім in Poland has also expanded to include the cable television and IPTV operators FineMEDIA and Strzyżowski.Net Michał Gomółka spółka komandytowa. In addition, the Дім channel has become available to subscribers of TEL-KAB Sp. z o.o. and Gorzowska Telewizja Kablowa Sp. z o.o.
In Poland, the Дім and FREEДОМ channels are available via satellite broadcasting, international OTT platforms, and the networks of national cable television and IPTV operators, ensuring broad access to Ukrainian international broadcasting for audiences throughout the country.
