The creation of a Special Tribunal for the crime of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine will be one of the key topics at next week’s NATO Summit in Ankara, Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten said, UATV English reports.

In a post on X, Jetten stressed that Russia’s aggression against Ukraine must not go unpunished and called for those responsible to be held accountable.

“Russia’s aggression against Ukraine cannot go unpunished. That is why it is essential to establish a Special Tribunal to hold those responsible for this aggression accountable,” Jetten said.

He also recalled that the Dutch government had decided the Netherlands is prepared to host the Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine, including its operational phase, subject to certain conditions.

“We will continue supporting Ukraine. This will also be one of the key topics at the NATO Summit in Ankara next week,” Jetten added.
