President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that during his visit to the United States, his team participated in over 30 events, including meetings with US President Donald Trump and a meeting of the first ladies of Ukraine and the US, Ukrinform reports.
“Important days in the US. Our team held more than 30 events, including productive talks with President Trump, meetings of the first ladies of Ukraine and the US, dozens of meetings with global leaders for peace, strengthening cooperation, and building new connections. The International Crimea Platform Summit, held globally for the first time, brought together representatives from over 60 countries. The International Coalition Summit for the Return of Ukrainian Children involved more than 40 delegations. We also engaged with organizations, businesses, and events addressing global challenges, peace, prosperity, and education,” Zelenskyy said.
He emphasized that all this work is for one goal — the strength of Ukraine: “Strength to protect our people. Strength to end the war and restore a real and lasting peace. Ukraine is grateful to every caring heart, to all countries and leaders ready to help. Thank you for supporting our children, Ukrainian soldiers, and citizens.”
Zelenskyy participated in high-level events during the 80th UN General Assembly in New York, which runs from September 23–27 and 29.
