Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in the US, where he plans to meet with President Donald Trump.
As UATV English reports, Zelenskyy announced this on Facebook.
“Already in the United States of America. On the schedule are meetings with President Trump, his team, and those who can support our defense. Priority number one is anti-ballistic defense and strategic cooperation with America. Peace needs to get closer,” Zelenskyy stressed.
He added that, on behalf of all of Ukraine, he will honor the memory of Senator Lindsey Graham and, together with everyone at the ceremony in Washington, will remember his efforts for security and freedom in the Euro-Atlantic region and other parts of the world.
Zelenskyy thanked everyone who is helping protect lives.
As previously reported, during his visit to Portsmouth, Zelenskyy, together with UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham, spoke with Ukrainian and British sailors who took part in the multinational Sea Breeze exercises.
