Why the Russian Army is building a road through the Arabat Spit in Crimea, the expert explained

The Russian armed forces will build a road on the Arabat Spit in order to quickly overturn military equipment, as well as retreat from the illegally annexed Crimea. Refat Chubarov, head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, announced this on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel.

“Back in the summer, the Kremlin and its subordinate collaborators in Crimea claimed that there could not even be any inclinations that the peninsula would be liberated by Ukrainian troops. They argued that Crimea is forever part of Russia, as they say, “Russian land,” he said.

According to Chubarov, fortification work is currently being carried out in the northern part of the Crimean peninsula in order to contain the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And the enterprises of the illegally annexed peninsula received a task: to make special concrete and metal structures.

“It is also necessary to shout that by building this road they are barbarously destroying the entire ecosystem that has been established there for thousands of years. The road itself is being made so that military equipment can be quickly transferred. But some experts say the road is being made to retreat just as quickly. The fact is that it goes to Dzhankoy, and from there in a straight line to the Kerch bridge, without going deep into the peninsula. And it is possible that the construction of the road meets the plans of Moscow, which provide for the retreat of Russian troops from the Crimea, ”concluded Refat Chubarov.
