Kamila Konotop, who competes in the weight category up to 55 kg, has won 3 gold medals at the European Weightlifting Championships, which takes place in Moscow.
This is reported by UATV with reference to the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian had no equal in the snatch (95 kg), clean and jerk (113 kg) and in total – 208 kg.
Dmitry Voronovsky (up to 55 kg) in the clean and jerk (137 kg) and in the overall standings (247 kg) won 2 bronze medals at the European Championship. Another Ukrainian Angelina Lomachynska took 3rd place in the snatch in the weight category up to 45 kg.
Ukrainian skaters won 2 licenses for the Beijing Olympic Games.
