18-year-old Ilya Kovtun from Cherkasy won a bronze medal at the World Gymnastics Championship in Kitakyushu, Japan.

The Ukrainian gymnast became the third in individual all-around with a score of 84,899 points.
Chinese Zhang Bohen (87,981 points) won gold and Daiki Hashimoto from Japan won silver (87,964).
This is the 2nd medal of Ukraine at the world championships. In 2019, Oleh Vernyaev won the bronze.
The World Cup will last until October 24.
