At Boxing Night, Ukrainian fighter Denys Berinchyk, 30, holder of the WBO Oriental lightweight title, defeated Colombian boxer Jose Luis Prieto, 33.
Berinchyk beat Prieto by technical knockout. The Colombian visitor to Kyiv didn’t make it to the sixth round.
It was the ninth victory in the ring for Berinchyk.
The event, which was at the Palace of Sports, was organized by Sparta Boxing Promotion and K2 Promotions Ukraine.
