Ukraine as a brand – experts discussed the country’s image

On August 3, “Ukraine 30. Ukraine’s image abroad” forum’s second day takes place in Kyiv. Government officials and experts discuss the country’s brand.

Experts noted that a brand is not only about beauty and popularity, but about competition. After all, many countries around the world also create their own brands in order to become attractive in terms of investment.

Ukraine NOW platform is successfully operating in Ukraine. It is an instrument of public diplomacy to represent the state in the international arena.

“Ukraine NOW is a brand that can be developed and used in companies of various spheres” – said Emine Dzhaparova, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

In addition, the Ukraine.ua platform has been created – this is a website and an official page on Facebook and Instagram. About 20% of subscribers are foreigners. This way they can learn more about Ukraine.

Also, the country’s brand is influenced by tourism, so Ukraine is implementing the “Big Construction” program and is restoring architectural sights.
