Ukraine and the United States will adopt a new strategic partnership charter, and will also consider a plan for Ukraine’s transformation at a meeting of the updated strategic partnership commission.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba told about this in a video from San Francisco, informs UA.

The minister said that the meeting will take place this autumn.

“This autumn, Secretary of State Blinken and I will hold a meeting of the renewed strategic partnership commission and, most importantly, we will adopt a new strategic partnership charter between Ukraine and the United States. The first charter was signed in 2008, the world has changed, we need a new charter, an ambitious and meaningful document” – he said.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine and the United States signed an agreement on the basics of a defense partnership.
