Ukraine and Slovenia to Sign Two Agreements to Strengthen Cooperation

Slovenian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon announced that two bilateral agreements aimed at deepening cooperation between Ukraine and Slovenia will be signed on Thursday, October 30.

Speaking at a joint press conference with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha in Kyiv, Fajon stated:

“Later today, we will sign two very important agreements between our countries. On behalf of our Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development, I will sign a memorandum focused on providing technical assistance in regional development and supporting, among other things, Chapter 22 of Ukraine’s EU accession process.”

She added that a second agreement on technical and financial cooperation will also be signed, which will “further strengthen our collaboration in development and in Ukraine’s reconstruction efforts.”

Earlier, during her working visit to Lviv region, Tanja Fajon visited the Superhumans Center, a rehabilitation hub for war victims.
