The Ukrainian Defense Forces have not yet activated 80-85% of their reserves – details from an expert

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have not yet used 80-85% of their reserves, while the Russian occupying army has 30-40% of reserves left. This was stated on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel by the founder of the charitable foundation “Close the Sky of Ukraine”, retired lieutenant general Igor Romanenko.

“Now the situation is constantly being assessed. That is, to deal with the system, to clarify the enemy’s defense system in certain areas, to build and adjust plans for conducting military operations. According to Western experts, the non-use of our strategic reserves so far by our side, it is clear that they are involved, but this, according to various estimates, still remains somewhere 80-85%, in contrast to the significant forces that the enemy has already led for the purpose of defensive actions “, Romanenko explained.

Romanenko also spoke about the current state of the reserves of the Russian army.

“According to estimates, they still have up to 30-40% reserves somewhere. Although it is clear that, again, in dynamic events and in the development of these events, reserves are replenished both in manpower and in equipment. But, as you know, this not endless processes, and you need to quickly respond to the situation. This does not always work out, ”the expert said.

According to him, the Ukrainian military is looking for new weaknesses in the enemy’s defense in order to withdraw more reserves.

Romanenko stressed that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are facing serious tasks, but thanks to the help of partners, the potential of the Ukrainian army is growing.

Recall that the 13th meeting in the Rammstein format was held in Brussels the day before. Nearly 50 allies discussed increasing Ukraine’s combat capabilities.
