The state enterprise “The International Broadcasting Multimedia Platform of Ukraine” has expanded the international distribution of the FREEДОМ channel in Estonia. IBMPU signed an agreement with one of the country’s largest telecom operators — Elisa. The Ukrainian international broadcasting channel is now available to subscribers on the Elisa Elamus platform in the “Family Package,” the thematic “Slavic Package,” as well as via the a-la-carte system.
Elisa is one of Estonia’s technological leaders and part of the Finnish group Elisa Oyj. The company is the second-largest cable TV and internet operator in Estonia, as well as the largest player in the mobile communications market. The provider offers the Elisa Elamus platform based on Android TV, combining traditional television with streaming capabilities and delivering high-quality HD and 4K content.
Thanks to innovative solutions, viewers have access to interactive features such as a 14-day program archive, cloud recording, pause, and rewind functions. In addition to more than 150 TV channels, the platform includes the exclusive Elisa Huub video-on-demand service with original content. Its multi-platform architecture allows users to watch content via set-top boxes (Digibox), Smart TV apps (Samsung, LG, Android TV), as well as on smartphones, tablets, and computers.
FREEДОМ is also available in Estonia via digital terrestrial television (T2), satellite Hot Bird 13G, international OTT platforms, and the networks of national providers Telset and STV AS.
