Russian Offensive Slows as Fighting Subsides on Three Frontline Sectors — Ukrainian Military

Russian forces have reduced offensive activity on several sections of the front, with no assault operations recorded on the Kramatorsk, Orikhiv, and Prydniprovsk axes over the past 24 hours, according to Ukraine’s General StaffUATV English reports.

A total of 249 combat engagements were reported across the frontline during the reporting period. Ukrainian military officials also noted a significant decrease in Russian assault activity in the Kharkiv region.

On the North Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Ukrainian forces repelled three Russian attacks, while Russian troops carried out 86 artillery strikes against Ukrainian positions and settlements.

Russian forces launched eight assaults on the South Slobozhanskyi axis near Starytsia and toward Izbytske, Karaichne, and Vilcha.

On the Kupiansk axis, Russian troops attacked six times toward Podoly and Novoplatonivka.

The heaviest fighting continued on the Lyman and Sloviansk directions, where Russian forces launched 21 and 28 assaults, respectively, attempting to break through Ukrainian defenses.

No Russian assault operations were recorded on the Kramatorsk axis.

On the Kostiantynivka axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Rusyn Yar, Illinivka, Pleshchiivka, and toward Mykolaipillia.

The Pokrovsk direction remained one of the most active sectors, where Ukrainian forces stopped 33 Russian assault attempts near multiple settlements, including Shakhove, Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Kotlyne, Udachne, and Shevchenko.

On the Oleksandrivka axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled six attacks near Vorone, Ternove, Kalynivske, and toward Verbove and Nove Zaporizhzhia.

Russian forces carried out 30 assaults on the Huliaipole axis near Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, and in the direction of Vozdvyzhivka, Hirke, Novoselivka, Tsvitkove, and Charivne.

No offensive operations were recorded on the Orikhiv or Prydniprovsk axes.

Earlier, military and political analyst Dmytro Sniehyrov said Ukrainian strikes had significantly disrupted Russian logistics in occupied Crimea as well as parts of the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.
