The military equipment of the Russian army, which they try to replenish the units, is often not combat-ready. In addition, there is a problem with the staffing of military units with specialists. This was announced in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
According to the representative of Ukrainian intelligence Vadim Skibitsky, Russia will be able to form a new army corps only before the end of November.
“The story with the third army corps will stretch until November. The problem is human resources. Staffing with specialists. It takes 3-4 months to prepare a normal specialist,” he said.
Skibitsky also noted that the Russian army has a problem with the acquisition of equipment and weapons.
“All the latest equipment was in service with those battalion tactical groups that entered our territory in February-March. Now we see that all units being formed are equipped with Soviet weapons, which are removed from storage bases and arsenals and enter the troops. According to our estimates, 40% of military equipment is not combat-ready, ”said a representative of Ukrainian intelligence.
He added that Russian equipment needs to be repaired.
During the war against Ukraine, Russia lost more than 49,000 killed.
