GLSDB missiles, when given to Ukraine, will have the same impact as when given HIMARS on the battlefield. They will allow you to hit a longer distance. Ivan Yakubets, a military expert, member of the expert council of the Center for Army Research, Conversion and Disarmament, spoke about this on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel.
“These are absolutely the same type of means of armed struggle in terms of the range of reaching the defeat of the enemy. Therefore, if the Hymars allowed us to strike up to 76 kilometers, now these missiles will allow us to strike at the rear of the enemy for 150 kilometers, that is, twice as much, ”said the guest on the air.
He stressed that such missiles are very necessary for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Because the Russians, after we began to actively use the Haimars, began to withdraw their warehouses, their command posts and other forces, and logistics support facilities to longer distances so that the Haimars did not reach,” Yakubets emphasized.
He said that while the West is increasing arms supplies to Ukraine, the Russians are losing their resources. The more the APU will get the enemy, the farther the Russians will withdraw their troops.
The expert believes that agreements should also be reached on the transfer of ATACMS missiles to Ukraine.
