The United States of America supports Ukraine’s membership in NATO. Today there are all the necessary tools for further progress in this direction.
This was stated by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken during a hearing at the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Ukrinform agency informs.
“We support Ukraine’s membership in NATO. Today it has all the necessary tools to move further in this direction. Since then, an action plan for NATO membership has been created, and a number of other important tools have been developed to help countries prepare for possible membership, including the annual program, from which, Ukraine will only benefit”, – he said.
According to Blinken, the United States is working with Ukraine “on an almost daily basis”.
The US Secretary of State also noted the importance of forming an effective anti-corruption system in Ukraine.
