Over the past day, 134 units of military equipment were found in the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk and Donetsk regions, deployed in violation of the Minsk agreements. February 20, Ukraine’s Joint Ceasefire Monitoring and Coordination Center reported.

It is noted that the hybrid troops of the Russian Federation deployed towed howitzers, multiple rocket launchers, self-propelled howitzers, tanks, axle boxes and anti-tank guns, and armored combat vehicles in violation of the withdrawal line.
The headquarters added that the work of the OSCE SMM in occupied Donbas is regularly accompanied by obstacles from the militants.
Ukraine’s side keeps the situation under control and continues to perform tasks to repel and deter armed aggression by the Russian Federation.

At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine adhere to the Minsk agreements and open fire in response only in cases when the actions of the Russian occupation forces pose a threat to the life and health of Ukrainian soldiers and civilians.
Ukraine’s Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov stated that Kyiv does not confirm the withdrawal of Russian troops from the border. According to the minister, as of February 18, 149,000 Russian troops of the ground component, as well as aviation and naval contingent are amassed at Ukrainian borders.
February 17, the situation in the Donbas conflict area worsened after a relative lull. As reported earlier, Russia-backed militants shelled a number of civilian facilities, including a school and a kindergarten.
