Daria Lopatetska Wins ITF Tournament in Hong Kong

Ukrainian tennis player, Daria Lopatetska, won the China Tonghai Women’s tournament in Hong Kong, BTU reported.

She beat the Chinese Shuyue Ma 6- 4, 6- 3. She is now on a 12-match winning streak.

Lopatetska advances to the top 400 of the WTA ranking after this victory. She jumped 124 spots to No. 365 from 489.

This is her second title in the ITF circuit in a row and fourth in the professional career of the 15-year-old.

Last week, the Kharkiv resident won the Kidsland Women’s tournament in Hong Kong.

Born in 2003, Lopatetska is quickly making a name for herself in tennis: the teenager has already posted a 27-3 record on the ITF circuit, despite only making her debut last June.

In 2018, she had a perfect start in the professional ranks, winning her first 17 matches and two ITF titles, with the loss of just two sets.
