The movie’s target audience is children and teenagers. However, the creators believe that the story will be interesting for people of all ages. In addition to human values, the film raises the issue of environmental protection. Namely – the impact of technological progress on the world.
“Science fiction always involves some adventures or unusual fantastic events. We have a walking electric transformer box, the issue of energy, which is presented in several forms – as electricity and as mental human energy,” the co-producer of the movie “The Bobot” Dmytro Karpenko said.
It took two years to complete the movie. The cast features both professional and amateur actors. Half of the film is based on computer graphics.
One viewer, Aliona, came to a charity screening with her son Volodymyr, who has autism. The boy is a huge Harry Potter fan, and his mother hopes that he will love “The Bobot” just as much.
“After he saw Harry Potter for the first time, he asked me to buy him two books. As a result, we’ve read not two but four books over the holidays. We are expecting to get something new, some emotions and knowledge from this movie,” she said.
