According to Ukrinform, due to an increase in the number of thefts from tourists, Georgia is strengthening its’ police presence in tourist-heavy areas.
The new patrols started Monday.
According to the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the beginning, ten groups of police are patrolling Tbilisi streets.
However, this number may increase during busy travel periods.
