Vereshchuk, Svyrydenko, Ryabikin: three new ministers were appointed by the Verkhovna Rada

Today, on November 4, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine appointed three new ministers, UA informs.

Iryna Vereshchuk, a people’s deputy from the “Servant of the People”, became the Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.

The new appointment was supported by 260 people’s deputies.

Iryna Vereshchuk served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine as an officer for 10 years. In politics – since 2009.

Yulia Svyridenko has been elected Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine. The decision to appoint her was supported by 256 people’s deputies.

Since December 2020, Svyrydenko has worked in the Office of the President as a deputy head, where she deals with economic issues, investor relations. She also develops measures to stimulate economic growth in Ukraine in 2021-2022.

Pavlo Ryabikin, who headed the State Customs Service, became the new Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine.

His appointment was supported by 237 people’s deputies.

Ryabikin previously served as Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications of Ukraine, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Denmark and held the position of Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration. From March 23, 2017 – he was the General Director of Boryspil International Airport.

To remind, on November 4 the Verkhovna Rada appointed Oleksiy Reznikov Minister of Defense.
