Athletes from the Ukrainian Armed Forces have won 33 medals at the 7th CISM Military World Games, which ended in Wuhan (China) on October 27, 2019.
Ukraine’s military sports team received 5 gold, 13 silver and 15 bronze medals at the competitions and took tenth place in overall rankings, the press service of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry reported, according to Ukrinform.
A total of 10,000 athletes from 110 countries participated in the 7th CISM Military World Games. The Ukrainian national team consisted of 87 military athletes who participated in judo, sailing, athletics, swimming, diving, bullseye shooting, archery, modern and military pentathlon, fencing as well as three types of wrestling, freestyle, women’s and Greco-Roman.
