The hryvnia is the 6th of best-performing currencies since the beginning of the year – Bloomberg

In January-September 2021, the Ukrainian hryvnia strengthened against the dollar by 7%. Ranked sixth in the Bloomberg ranking, the hryvnia has become one of the ten best-performing currencies since the beginning of the year.

This is reported by UA with the reference to the Bloomberg.

According to the report, the Seychelles rupee ranks first place, having gained 53% thanks to tourism. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, in 2021, the number of tourists from Asian countries who visited Seychelles increased by 8% compared to 2020. According to the agency, this is the best result among 146 currencies worldwide.

In second place is the currency of Zambia – kwacha, in third – Mozambican metical, in fourth – Armenian dram, in fifth – Angolan kwanza.

Also, the top ten strongest currencies included the Georgian lari, the Belarusian ruble, the Ugandan shilling and the Dominican peso.
