Russian propaganda uses the video of the International broadcasting multimedia platform of Ukraine to manipulate and provoke a war. Today, on February 19, the journalist visited the territory of the kindergarten in the settlement of Stanytsia-Luhanska, which was shelled by illegal armed formations of the so-called Luhansk People’s Republic a few days ago. In the video, filmed by a journalist, one can hear sounds of fight, shelling, and, explosions in Stanytsia Luhanska. This video was published in the DOM telegram channel.
Literally, a few minutes later, Russian propaganda TV channels began to re-upload this video without the logo of the Dom telegram channel and publish it as so-called “proof” that the shelling was taking place directly from the territory of the kindergarten in order to provoke shelling. Although even on the video itself one can hear that firing is taking place in the distance and bursts of incoming shells.
The logo of the DOM TV channel was deliberately removed so that people could not find the source and see that Russian propagandists are once again trying to deceive them.
This content manipulation confirms the fact that the journalist filmed in a kindergarten on the eve of the visit of Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk and Head of the Luhansk Regional Civil-Military Administration Serhiy Haidai. At that time, there were other journalists, including foreign media, and none of them noticed the so-called “provocative shelling” from the territory of the kindergarten.
The International broadcasting multimedia platform of Ukraine declares that its materials cannot be used to manipulate and provoke war.
Russian propagandists will bear the same responsibility for the death of people living in Donbas as the Russian military and political leadership of Russia.
