Propaganda in Russia denigrates the RDK and the “Freedom of Russia” legion, exposing them as traitors and comparing them with the Vlasovites, – expert

The emergence of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RDC) and the Freedom of Russia legion will not be able to influence the opinion of all Russians, but they can succeed in gathering a number of like-minded people who will fight to build a new democratic Russia. This opinion was expressed by the candidate of psychological sciences Dmitry Popov on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel.

In Russia, in the media (media), the RDK and the Freedom of Russia legion were dubbed Vlasovites (servicemen of the Russian Liberation Army who fought in the army of Nazi Germany against the USSR during World War II – ed.), Therefore, their activities are negatively perceived by Russians, who are accustomed to trusting government media.

“Unfortunately, the media in Russia have already dubbed the Russian Volunteer Corps with a very clear label that is clear to all of Russia – Vlasovites. So they are now called on all federal channels by [Russian propagandist] Solovyov and his associates. This is a powerful trigger, an anchor that will act on all Russians. That is, this is a very negative phenomenon for them. Although the Russian Volunteer Corps is not. Therefore, the majority of the Russian population will have a negative attitude towards the RDK, ”Popov noted.

The expert is sure that there are people in Russia who support the activities of such groups and that they will be able to change the political system in the Russian Federation in the future.

“The Freedom of Russia Legion and the Russian Volunteer Corps will ignite and inspire passionate people who are really ready to give their lives for the future new Russia,” he concluded.
