Ukraine’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba confirms the foreign intelligence reports on the growing number of Russian troops at the Ukrainian border. He stated this at the Ukraine-France forum, held by the New Europe Center and the French Institute of International Relations in Paris.

“The number of troops at the Russian-Ukrainian border is gradually increasing. It is really happening gradually, however, the dynamics are obvious. We also understand that the logistics infrastructure allows Russia to make a sharp increase,” he said.

Dmytro Kuleba has added that there is an additional problem of gathering troops in the north, on Belarusian territory, given that self-proclaimed President Lukashenko seeks for building close relations with Russia.

Earlier today, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said the intelligence around a Russian invasion of Ukraine was gloomy. The next few days could be the most dangerous moment in Europe’s biggest security crisis for decades as Russia stages war games in Belarus, he added.
