Norway will finance another batch of U.S.-made weapons for Ukraine, allocating more than €267 million for this purpose, UATV English informs.

According to NRK, Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre announced this on December 17.

At a briefing on Wednesday, Støre said Norway would provide 3.2 billion Norwegian kroner—over €267.5 million—for a new package of U.S. weapons for Ukraine.

The package includes air defense missiles, as well as weapons and ammunition for F-16 fighter jets.

“We will purchase part of this equipment from the United States under the established support framework for Ukraine,” Støre said.

On December 16, Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal, following the 32nd meeting of the Ramstein format, spoke about assistance commitments from around a dozen of Ukraine’s partners, including Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Denmark, and others.

According to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukraine will need $15 billion in 2026 to procure the U.S. weapons it requires.
