“New Russian turmoil” – the expert told what the defeat of the Russian Federation in the war with Ukraine leads to

The inevitable defeat of Russia in the Russian-Ukrainian war will lead to a loss of control in the country and the emergence of a kind of “new Russian turmoil”. This opinion was expressed by the sociologist and publicist Igor Eidman on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel.

He is convinced that the Putin regime will fall after the victory of Ukraine in the war unleashed by the Kremlin.

“In the history of Russia, many times after the unsuccessful wars that Russia lost, such tectonic shifts took place, and the country changed very much … I am absolutely convinced that something similar will happen now. And the inevitable defeat, the shameful defeat that Putin, the Putin regime will suffer in this aggressive war against Ukraine, it will lead to a loss of control. That is, this regime will not be able to govern society, govern the country. To a split in the elites, as well as to some new Russian turmoil, on the ruins of which, this Putin regime, something new will already arise. And this something new will be completely different than this terrorist imperial regime,” Eidman said.

The sociologist is also convinced that no matter who leads Russia after Putin, Germany will not return to oil and gas dependence.

“It was like the Germans were not ready to give up Russian gas so quickly, but Putin himself shot himself in the foot and helped the Germans do it. Now Germany no longer buys Russian gas through the fault of Russia itself. But, nevertheless, all gas storages are almost 100% full, and no one expects any serious problems … The Germans are now no longer dependent on Russia for oil and gas, and they will never return to this. Even if Putin is overthrown there tomorrow and Navalny, who is very much loved in Germany, becomes president, I think that the Germans will no longer sit down on the Russian gas and oil needle. Even in this case, ”Eidman is convinced.
