Dim TV Channel Marks 6 Years on Air

Yesterday, March 1, marked six years since the launch of Ukraine’s international broadcasting TV channel “Dim.” Over one hundred premieres have aired, along with more than 6,500 hours of in-house produced content*. The digital ecosystem of “Dim” includes 1.6 million subscribers and over 875 million views**.

Today, “Dim” is the native language that resonates with Ukrainians around the world. The channel’s projects are watched in Europe, America, Asia, and even Australia. This year, Ukrainian international broadcasting expanded “Dim’s” coverage in the networks of national operators in Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Moldova, the UAE, and Germany; in 2025, “Dim” appeared for the first time in the offerings of providers in France, Montenegro, and Luxembourg. The channel is now available on 19 OTT platforms, and in 2025 it was added to the channel lineup of the streaming platform UVO Entertainment LLC, which provides access for viewers in the United States and Canada.

“Six years of growth, change, and challenges are united by one main goal — to be a source of support for Ukrainians wherever fate has taken them. We are steadily expanding our international coverage and increasing accessibility on digital platforms. Last year, we also launched our first two FAST channels featuring ‘Dim’ content, and we plan to further develop this direction. Our projects always speak about Ukraine and our incredible people — about our struggle, unity, and resilience, about our history, traditions, and present day. Despite all the challenges of the past year, we are filming and planning new premieres. A new season of ‘I Will Not Forget’ is already on air, ‘Travel of Our Time’ launches in March, we are preparing a new season of ‘Cities,’ and awaiting the start of filming for several more projects. This spring, we plan to resume live broadcasts of ‘Morning at Home,’” said Yuliia Bin, CEO of the state enterprise “Multimedia Platform of Ukraine’s International Broadcasting,” of which “Dim” is a part.

Over six years, the “Dim” channel has produced more than 6,500 hours of original content. More than one hundred premieres have aired. Among them are significant projects featuring socially important, educational, and cultural content produced after the start of the full-scale invasion. Over the past year, viewers saw premieres and new seasons of “I Will Not Forget,” “Travel of Our Time,” “Cities,” “Musical Guard,” “Without Limits,” “The Recipe of the Matter,” “Healthy Choice,” “Deception,” “Leading Role,” “Revived,” “Forest of Hands,” “To the Children of Our Defenders,” “Ode to Unity,” “I Will Wait,” “Warriors of Science,” and others.

The international broadcasting team has created a resilient digital ecosystem for “Dim,” which includes:

  • 7 YouTube channels (the main “Dim” channel, the “Morning at Home” program channel, the social initiative channel “Dim. Inclusive” with content for people with hearing and visual impairments, and 4 thematic channels), 3 of which were launched in 2025;
  • 2 Facebook accounts;
  • 2 Instagram accounts;
  • 1 account each on TikTok, Threads, and X;
  • a website.

Currently, “Dim’s” digital ecosystem counts over 1.6 million subscribers and more than 875 million views. These figures continue to grow.

In 2025, Ukrainian international broadcasting significantly expanded the channel’s international coverage. “Dim” now broadcasts on one of the most powerful satellites, Hotbird-13C, covering all of Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. The channel is present in the networks of national cable, DTH, and IPTV operators in 22 countries, including EU countries, Israel, Bangladesh, Indonesia, the UAE, and Moldova. Over the year, “Dim” increased its presence in the networks of Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, the UAE, and Germany. At the same time, the channel appeared for the first time in the TV offerings of telecommunications providers in Germany, Luxembourg, France, and Montenegro. “Dim” is also available on OTT platforms of 19 international and national operators.

In 2026, the international broadcasting team will place special emphasis on strengthening the channel’s coverage abroad and developing socially important content lines.
