China is Ukraine’s number one trading partner, although there are disagreements affecting engagement policy.
This was reported by UA with reference to the interview of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba to the publication “RBС-Ukraine”.
“China is Ukraine’s number one trading partner. All people who are trying to impede the development of relations between Ukraine and China in the trade sphere are working against the interests of Ukraine,” said Kuleba.
The minister noted that there are differences with China in the vision of a number of political issues.
“We recognize this and build our policy accordingly,” he said.
Ukraine cooperates with China in the sphere of security.
“We understand that the United States is Ukraine’s number one security partner. And we do not intend to give China anything that can strategically negatively affect the security of Ukraine,” the minister said.
Besides, over the past month, the level of threat of a large-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine has increased.
