Brazil belongs to the group of balancing-neutral countries, which, in their geopolitical, geo-economic, geo-strategic vision, balance between different poles of power in this world. This was announced today, on April 18, on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel by an expert on international relations, People’s Deputy of Ukraine of the VI convocation Yevhen Dobryak.
“Naturally, this is not all of South America. This is the position of Brazil, which wants to build even relations of a geopolitical nature and get closer, of course, to China. And plays to the tune of Beijing in these geopolitical and geostrategic intentions, supporting the so-called Chinese plan, the Chinese position. This is one of Beijing’s strategies for rapprochement and joining the global South closer to itself. This is all connected with the politics and geopolitics of Beijing. If you take it objectively, the same Brazil supported and voted for the resolutions of the UN General Assembly on Ukraine. They perfectly understand the objective situation that exists in Ukraine. They perfectly understand who the aggressor is. But they play in the orchestra, which includes the so-called, as they were once called, non-aligned countries. Plus, within the framework of BRICS (a union of five states: Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, – ed.) and so on, ”he said.
But, as the expert noted, the main thing for Ukraine is strategic relations with its allies and partners: the G7 (G7), most of the G20 (G20), the entire European Union, the Anglo-Saxon bloc. Ukraine must be completely on the side of the democratic forces. Each country has certain interests, and each country, according to its interests, shows geopolitical aspects and its influence.
“The fact that they say so in Brazil, we understand that the president is leftist, he has always had leftist views. In this regard, he has a serious history. Therefore, yes, there is a direct influence of Beijing,” Dobryak said.
According to him, China wants to win over the axis of the global South to its side, to advance its so-called “peace plan” for Ukraine.
“But in no way, under the whole situation, we should not say that the same Brazil, the UAE or other states can be involved in direct support and a direct coalition with the Russian Federation. This is impossible. They will never go beyond the field of balancing their neutrality, they will play along with Beijing, somehow indirectly or directly playing along with the Russian Federation, but in no way will they enter into support, such as Iran, Syria, North Korea, they will never join this group of outcasts. will not enter. They will balance in a neutral field. But to become completely on the side of the Russian Federation – this will not happen. They confirmed this with their votes in the UN General Assembly in support of resolutions on Ukraine,” summed up Yevhen Dobryak.
