A list of EU member states, open for Ukrainians

According to the recommendation of the Council of the European Union, 14 countries have already opened their borders for Ukrainians. Citizens of Ukraine can visit these countries again. This was announced on July 26 by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, UA informs.

The ministry reminded that the EU Council has recently included Ukraine in the list of recommended third countries whose citizens are proposed to have temporary restrictions on optional travel to the EU lifted. One by one European countries began to open up to all types of travel for Ukrainians.

The following countries were included into the list over the past two weeks:

  • Denmark;
  • Germany;
  • Belgium;
  • Latvia;
  • Lithuania;
  • Estonia;
  • Finland;
  • Slovakia;
  • Slovenia;
  • Netherlands;
  • France;
  • Sweden;
  • Spain;
  • Portugal.

“Country after country, we are returning the full effect of a visa-free travel with the EU. Freedom of travel for Ukrainians is among the priorities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs” – Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said.

Most countries require a full COVID-19 vaccination certificate or a fresh negative PCR-test to enter.

However, the specific entry conditions for each country may be different. All details, as well as the list of vaccines approved in the country, can be checked on the interactive map of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
