Today, November 11, Minister of Culture and Information Policy Oleksandr Tkachenko resigned.

He wrote this on Facebook, UA informs.

“On the reasons (resignation – ed.). The decision of the Cabinet of Ministers on the State Cinema was made without the consent of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy. It is illogical to take the State Cinema from the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy and transfer it to the Cabinet of Ministers. It’s like taking the company’s transport department and handing it over to the board of directors. Such styles and approaches to process management surprise me – not my concept and values” – Tkachenko explained.

To remind, on November 3 the Verkhovna Rada dismissed five ministers: Oleksiy Lyubchenko from a position of the First Deputy Prime Minister – the Minister of economy, Oleh Urusky from a position of the Deputy Prime Minister – the Minister for Strategic Industries, Andriy Taran from a position of the Minister of Defense, Oleksiy Reznikov from a position Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories and Roman Abramovsky from the post of Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources.
