Russia is guilty of the armed conflict in Donbas, it was the first to start aggression.
This statement was made at a briefing by US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, who is on a visit to Kiev, UA informs.
“Let us make it clear – Russia has started this war, and Russia is the stone that hinders a peaceful settlement. They began to violate the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine” – Lloyd Austin stressed.
He noted that the United States will continue to provide Ukraine with all the necessary support.
“We will do everything possible on our part to support Ukraine, to develop its ability to protect its territorial integrity and inviolability” – the Secretary added.
Earlier, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Great Britain Vadym Prystaiko gave an interview about ships, military bases and experience of reintegration.
