The United States handed over 11 vehicles to the Ukrainian KORD police special service.
Today, the KORD, Ukraine’s elite police section, celebrated their graduation. The ceremony was attended by Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov, Head of the National Police of Ukraine Serhiy Knyazev, and Ambassador of the United States of America to Ukraine Mari Yovanovich.
Jovanovic congratulated the government on its progress in reforming the law enforcement sector of Ukraine.
“I am also pleased to present our partners these 11 cars purchased for KORD special forces to ensure an effective response during your special operations,” Jovanovic said.
